The only thing that’s worse is getting to a really really good point in a book and realizing that you have to go to bed.

  2. Yep, up there with getting to the book’s climax and having some someone sat near you with a funny cough. You are irritated but yet you still chuckle everytime he coughs. Two very conflicting emotions…

I just found your blog and its really sweet. I like how your posts are short, simple but super funny and lovely to read. Keep up the good work! ❤

  4. This is easily one of my biggest pet peeves! Lol. I often have the problem of needing to go to sleep but the book just got good so I tell myself “Just one more chapter”. Pretty soon, it’s 2:30 am and I have to be in a few hours. The struggles of a book lover are real.

But then you get to go home and the book will still be waiting. Alternatively, you could steal a few moments in the lavatory (not quite sure about that one) or on a bench under a tree (if it isn’t raining). I’m keen to know what you are reading? Do tell.

I usually read before bed, so for me, it’s always the worst when I get to a really good part and I know I HAVE to go to sleep or else I won’t make it into work the next day! Definitely the worst.

  7. Nothing worse. We actually have a rule in my household (The 20 Page Rule), that if you are in the last 20 pages of your book no one can bother you for ANY reason. (Well, I guess if the house is burning down…)

  8. I can’t even tell you how many times I walked between classes with my nose in a book because the story was getting so good. It’s dangerous though… I’ve run into many people trying to do that. Silver lining: I’m great at saying, “Oh man… so sorry!” without even losing my place on the page! 🙂
