Booze Hound

Have you ever heard of a booze hound? It’s this thing where you line up all the wine bottles and let your puppy choose which one you will drink by touching his nose to the bottle. At least, that’s what it means at my house. For the record, Dobby hasn’t let us down once with his choice of wine. He is basically a puppy sommelier, which is something every one needs as a basic neccessity. Booze hounds are the next big thing yall, you heard it here first.

  1. Boozehound that is superb I would be shocked to see that. The dogs in my family will go ahead and go pick a wine or beer but then proceed to knock it over and drink it up… one more thought on next what happens when your booze hound makes really bad choice of wine more than a few times… Is that grounds for youthinaziation punishable by picking shit wine?

  2. I’ll try and teach my dog the same trick. As I don’t drink alcohol, she will just have to choose between different kinds of teas. Keep on blogging in a free world – The False Prophet

  3. I JUST had a conversation with someone about how ‘Booze’ would be a great name for a dog. Then it might not sound as bad when I say things like, “I’d jump in front of a bus for booze” or “I’m going to take a morning walk with booze.”

  4. Haha! Wow! 😀 How would it work with multiple rounds though? I mean if you have 5 bottles, you line them up, Dobby chooses (let’s say) bottle number 2. You take away all the bottles, reshuffle and line them up again. Will Dobby choose number 2 again?

Hmm… I wonder if I can teach that neat little trick to my pet rooster. In order to understand what this is all about, you’ll have to read this:

See what I did there? I know, I’m shameless.
