  1. Funny, I wasn’t allowed to stand a foot away from the 20 inch TV, but I cat sit a few inches away from my 24 inch monitor–oh how things have changed (of course, then I didn’t need to wear a seatbelt either)

  2. I believe nowadays they call it swag … or have they moved on to another word already. But who needs swag when you’ve got Mojo, right? Keep on blogging in a free world – The False Prophet.

  3. Hey! Love your blog! It’s so real! I was wondering if you could follow mine? I’m just starting out! thanks!

  4. Isn’t cool where you hurt yourself trying to gain validation from people who aren’t any better than you (only at the time you think they are???). I spent most of high school trying to be cool only to realise when I went left that cool meant getting pregnant at 16. Which is clearly not cool. So I guess cool is uncool after all. Clear as mud.

  5. Oh the things one does as a child because they think they are ‘cool’! I remember doing a lot of silly things because I thought they were ‘cool’.

  6. I give you Xander and Oz, to explain cool.
“But … it’s just that it’s bugging me … this cool thing. I mean, what is it? How do you get it? Who doesn’t have it? And who decides who doesn’t have it? What is the essence of “cool”?
    Oz: Not sure.
Xander: I mean you, yourself, Oz, are considered more or less cool. Why is that?
    Oz: Am I?
Xander: Is it about the talking? You know, the way you tend to express yourself in short, non-committal phrases?
    Oz: Could be.
Xander: No, you’re in a band! That’s like a business class ticket to cool with complementary mojo after takeoff. I gotta learn an instrument. Is it hard to play guitar?
Oz: Not the way I play it.
Xander: Okay, but on the other hand, eighth grade: I’m takin’ the flugelhorn and gettin’ zero trim. So the whole instrument thing could be a mislead. But ya need a thing. One thing nobody else has. What do I have?
Oz: An exciting new obsession, which I feel makes you very special.”
