Here Is A Thought On New Years Day

I think that wormholes are created when people say “My New Years resolution is to not make a New Years resolution.” And that someday highly intelligent aliens will be able to travel to Earth through one of those wormholes and attempt to conquer our planet. And when that happens, I think we should find everyone who said that and give them a stern talking to.

I made the decision that no resolution should start on the 1st (that’s a vacation day). And the 2nd is the beginning of the weekend…so that doesn’t really work. Which brings me to, who wants to start on a Monday??? SO – my resolutions will begin on January 6th! 🙂

As a new blogger, I resolve to get more involved with commenting on blogs and being more active in the community. And can I just say how chucklesome I find Girl on the Contrary; huge kudos, as I often L-oh-L when the posts arrive in my inbox!

As I have scrolled through my newsfeed on Facebook and my timeline on both Twitter and Instagram, I cannot help but giggle at the people think think they are being different by saying they have no resolution. I believe they only do it because they want to be different, but they sound so…ignorant sometimes. To say that you want to remain the same is absolutely bonkers to me. Life is about growth and change, evolving daily. Even when you don’t want to change in essence you are still changing-you grow older and you’re essentially changing into a person who resists change which is a change in itself. God did not create us to be stagnant and content with complacency. We all have things we can diligently be working on within ourselves.

  4. A stern talking to after the fact, and perhaps a campaign to prevent the (surely) inevitable attack.
“Only you can stop the alien invasion. Resolve responsibly.”

Agree completely. I was thinking last night about making a resolution, and pretty quickly ended up thinking “what’s the point?”…
