How To Cure Brain Mushiness

I took the GRE last Saturday and though I did well (Yay! Thanks for sending all the good luck peeps!) I had major brain mush afterwards. My brain, it was all a-mush. Luckily, I happen to know the cure for brain mush and in the interest of eradicating brain mush forever, I wanted to share it.  It is as follows:

1 big gulp sized glass of red wine (or whatever adult beverage you prefer)

1 large pizza of choice

12 hours of a Lord of the Rings movie marathon (Harry Potter movies will also work)

Voilà! You’re cured!

  1. I took the SAT almost two weeks ago, and I’m afraid that I did that on one of my stupid days. Does your method also work for pre-score-release-day anxiety? Please say that it does because I might not survive to tell the tale. Also, please take a moment to read my musings on this topic (https://angelathinksthat.wordpress.com/2014/11/19/what-if-i-took-the-sat-on-my-stupid-day/) and help a sister out if you have any encouraging words to spare.

    1. It totally works for that!

I always wish I had better blogging advice to give…. my blogging philosophy is basically “you do you” and the people will start showing up. Whatever feels right to you to write about, write about that thing and put positivity into it and good things will come. 🙂

  2. “The renewed shock had nearly made him spill his drink. He drained it quickly before anything serious happened to it. He then had another quick one to follow the first one down and check that it was all right.
    “Freedom,” he said aloud.
Trillian came on to the bridge at that point and said several enthusiastic things on the subject of freedom.
“I can’t cope with it,” Zaphod said darkly, and sent a third drink down to see why the second hadn’t yet reported on the condition of the first. He looked uncertainly at both of her and preferred the one on the right.
He poured a drink down his other throat with the plan that it would head the previous one off at the pass, join forces with it, and together they would get the second to pull itself together. Then all three would go off in search of the first, give it a good talking to and maybe a bit of a sing as well.
He felt uncertain as to whether the fourth drink had understood all that, so he sent down a fifth to explain the plan more fully and a sixth for moral support.”
