Tell The People You Love That You Love Them. Now. Today.

A truly horrible and tragic thing happened to my family this weekend. If you pray, please pray. If you send happy thoughts, please send happy thoughts. We could use all the prayers and thoughts you’ve got.

Also, if you could do one more thing for me – can you please tell everyone who means anything to you how much you love them and how thankful you are that they are in your life? We don’t say it enough. I guess we’re worried about being cheesy or too emotional. Don’t be, that’s silly. Tell them. Tell them often.

  1. Your words are true. I was in the Army for 15 years. Lost family members when I was away. Old wise saying. “Leave with words of love and embrace never disappointing words. Never know when is the last time you shall meet”

When I was grieving for my mother, a friend said, “Do feel bad that you weren’t able to tell her at the end how much you loved her. She can hear you always now. If you say it now… if you feel it in your heart… she will hear you.”

Here words gave me immense solace. I hope they do you too.

    Take care of you GotC.

  3. All the happy thoughts on their way.. may they turn into happy leaflets and blossom into flowers… i pray.
Take care of your loved ones…!!

  4. Something was in the air. I went to a wake tonight for a 53 year old family friend who leaves behind a wife and four kids, the youngest 11. Prayers for you and yours.

  5. Everyone knows how much you love them. Your shinning character & warmth gives it out each day. Sorry you are so sad & concerned. I hope their is positive change. xx

  6. I am so sorry, sweety! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family! You are absolutely right; we should never take advantage of the time we have with our friends and family, the people that mean the most to us! Hang in there, girl! Hugs ❤

  7. I’m so sorry to for whatever tragedy occurred and I’m sending good vibes your way. My family suffered a terrible tragedy two months ago today and it’s been a process to pick up the pieces. Take comfort in those that surround you. Put one foot in front of the other even when it feels like an impossible task. You’ll eventually find the footing you need to breathe again.

  10. I hope everything turns out fine for you at the end whatever the situation, God still loves you and you are so right! I lost my mom last year and one of the regrets i had was how i never visited enough or told her how much I loved her as much as I should. Hugs.

  11. Sending positive thoughts and prayers for you and your family no matter what it is we should never wish bad on one another and show support even if not knowing one another as good people because really we are all one family
