These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things

So, this is a new thing where I tell you about things, places, food, entertainment, etc. that I love. Because I LOVE these things and I MUST SHARE THEM.

Also, I’m not getting paid for any of this, I just like these things a lot, but if you want to pay me, that would be a-ok by me.

Today’s favorite thing is brought to you by my terrible bowling ability and eternal craving for enchiladas.

Dart Bowl

Dart Bowl is ย a place that I can go to show off what a poor bowler I am, and also, maybe if I’m concentrating real hard, get a tiny bit better a bowling. ย Also, and more importantly in you’re my stomach, they serve enchiladas there that are DELICIOUS. They come with a fried egg on top and that sounds weird but tastes oh so good and right and maybe a little like what I imagine hope would taste like if it were a food. Their burgers are also yummy, but I can’t resist their enchiladas.

So, if you are in Austin and regardless of your bowling skills (seriously, I am the worst) you should go to Dart Bowl, because of enchiladas. And also, bowling is pretty fun even if you are bad. That’s why it’s America’s sport.

  1. We used to live in a small town in Florida and, because there was pretty much nothing fun to do at night, we would go bowling. Our bowling alley had Cosmic Bowling on Saturday nights. They dimmed the lights and put on loud dance music from the 90s (lots of Marky Mark). I bought purple bowling shoes, a purple and pink milky way design bowling ball and a Hello Kitty bag. Had so much fun there. The very cheap wine in a plastic cup was also a draw.

I know I’m a couple days late on this post, but I’ve recently found a new favorite place to eat in Austin!

    Wahoo’s!! If you haven’t already, you must! It’ll change you’re life ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Favorite things is wonderful, can’t wait for the next! Since I have family in Austin the next time I am there I will insist they take me to Dart Bowl and I will order the Enchilada’s!

Just make sure to wash your hands after you put your fingers in a bowling ball that thousands of other people have put their fingers in, before eating.

Bowling is the BEST… and bowling where there’s yummy food is even better! Sometimes those little dive eateries offer the most unique and tasty cuisine on the planet.

  6. I’m horrible at bowling, too, but it’s soooo fun!
My mind can not even begin to wrap around the concept of a fried egg on top of an enchilada. I would have taken one look and passed the plate over to my husband.
What gave you the courage to try something like that?
