  1. Congratulations on getting married!!! It is something that I highly recommend and believe that the failures in most are the fantasy that it will always be a perfect relationship. Though my wife and I don’t always agree, I think that our marriage is the most perfect marriage that I have ever seen, and I wish you the same!!!!! Have a Wonderful and Exciting Life Together!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. I’m just not sure about this. Married just after a Mayan faux-pocalypse, in Mid-Winter, just 3 days before Xmas, as a surprise, and now this is a reminder also of death? How did the first day go? is everyone still there? Oh, and Congratulations.

Since the world did not come to an end today, we must be experiencing option two, zombies (they are sly to trick you, not like in the movies). So here’s some wedding advice for tomorrow. First, if a bunch of strangers, ‘dressed’ as zombies, show up without an invitation; remember that Halloween was in October. Second, to be safe I have some 90% chocolate which I will carry with me when I eventually go to get my mail this afternoon, because I read somewhere that zombies can not resist chocolate, but it is psychedelic their systems, and 90% chocolate is instant ‘singing and dancing to Disco music’ (wait, that’s the same thing that happens to your parent’s generation at weddings…so, either way you will be entertained).

Glad® trash bags are super stretchy. (So the commercials say)
Free your imagination; there could be more than one body in that bag.

  5. Lol….

I have occassion, during the course of my job, to find myself picking up and disposing of deceased animals. The less said about that the better – but it lays the groudwork for this:

Several years ago I was contacted by the Police Department regarding something spotted in a creek very near an Elementary School. In the words of the dispatcher: “Reporting Party is unsure what it is. It’s either a deceased beaver or a human head.”

Thankfully, it wasn’t the latter. Made for some interesting thoughts on the drive over, though.

My best wishes for you and the soon to be Mr. Contrary!

  6. ” Oh. Hymen’s greetings.”
“Hymen. The god of matrimony. His salutations upon you. May the love we celebrate today avoid an almost inevitable decline.”
