This Is How Grown-Ups Eat.

You are never too old for PB&J and a glass of milk. That’s just common sense. BUT- you do have to make some grown-up adjustments. For instance, yesterday I ate a PB&J except instead of peanut butter, I had all-natural almond butter, and instead of jelly, I had orange marmalade. I did have a glass of milk but it was skim milk and also I drank it out of a coffee cup so that if anyone walked by they would think “Wow, coffee. That girl is so grown-up.” Of course, when I made the sandwich, I was singing the Barney peanut butter and jelly song, but that is just standard PB&J making procedure- I wouldn’t know how to make a PB&J sandwich without this song. And then afterward, I started singing the Peanut Butter Jelly Time song. BECAUSE IT WAS PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME.

  1. You do that too… I sing the Barney song as well. The song is brilliant! Where else can you find the step by step process on how to make a PBJ sandwich. Barney needs to make songs like that for everything. For instance, the How to wax your car song or how to cook a chicken pot pie.

Dont worry I know the song about brushing your teeth that Barney sings.

What would I do with out Barney!

  2. lol… I do the same thing with the songs! I really shouldn’t, since now my 7 yr old knows when it’s peanut butter jelly time and does a round house/hip swivel dance when i sing it. Yep, that’s me, the bad influence.

And for shame woman, did you not put your all natural Almond butter and marmalade on whole grain bread? because you need to appear far more halth conscious.
